More Info on the CD Poker Bonus
Once you create your new player account at CD Poker and make your first deposit you will see that your bonus money is listed in your ‘pending bonus balance’. You cannot wager or withdraw this money until you "release" it from the pending bonus account by earning enough CD Points. Every time you earn 1,200 CD Points, you release $10 of your bonus money. To see information on your bonus, as well as your CD Point balance, click the "Account" button in the lobby.
Each CD Point you earn is worth $0.83 towards your bonus, and $10 of the bonus money is released every time you accumulate 1,200 CD Points. At that point, you receive $10 and also keep the CD Points.
How to Earn CD Poker Points
There are three different ways to earn CD Points - by playing real money cash games, by playing real money sit and go's, and by playing real money multi table tournaments. Read on to learn more:
» Earning CD Points in Cash Games
The first way to earn CD Points is by playing real money cash games. Every time you dealt into a hand that is raked, you will earn CD Points. The amount of points you earn is based on both the amount of rake taken, as well as your status in the CD Poker VIP program. Here is a chart showing how many points you will earn:
As you can see, the more rake that is taken, and the higher you are in the VIP program, the more CD points you will earn per hand. Remember that you only have to be dealt into the hand to earn points - you don't actually have to see a flop or go to a showdown.
» Earning CD Points in Sit and Go's/Tournaments
The other way to earn CD Points is by playing real money sit and go's and multi table tournaments. Every time you enter a real money sit and go or tournament you pay a "tournament fee", which is usually listed as a "+$X" on the buy-in. For example, a $10+$1 tournament has a tournament fee of $1. Every time you pay tournament fees you earn CD Points, and again, the amount of points you earn depends on your status in the VIP club:
Players can also earn fractional points from tournaments and sit and go's, so if you enter a $5+$0.50 sit and go, you will earn half of the points listed in the table above.
New Depositor Freerolls
As you may recall, we also mentioned some freerolls in our bonus package. If you use the sign up link in the blue box at the top of this page, you will receive four tokens to a weekly $500 freeroll on Wednesdays at 18:00 and one token to a monthly Prize freeroll on the last Saturday of each month at 18:00. All five of these tournaments are exclusive to players who have deposited in the last month, so the player fields are small and easy to beat.
