CD Poker Overview (7.88/10.0):
CD Poker (www.CDPoker.com) is an online poker room that is part of the iPoker network. They offer great customer support in several languages as well as big bonuses and a great loyalty program. CD Poker may remind players of Titan Poker, because both rooms are on the iPoker network and use very similar poker software.
Unfortunately, players from the USA are not allowed to play for real money at CDPoker.com. If you are from the United States, check out the best United States poker sites. If you are from outside of the USA, read on to learn everything you need to know about CD Poker.
CD Poker Software (8.5/10.0):
The software at CD Poker is the standard iPoker software, which is always clean, simple, and reliable. When you visit CD Poker you will get hit with a few annoying pop ups, but once you download the poker client you won't have to deal with any advertisements whatsoever. After you download CD Poker and install the software you will be lead to the CD Poker lobby. Here is a screen shot of the lobby at CD Poker:
As you can see, the CD Poker lobby uses a navigation bar on the left side of the screen to filter the poker games. You can choose between Cash Tables, Sit & Go's, Scheduled Tournaments, Play Money games, or Casino Games. Once you choose one of the options, you will be presented with more choices so you can further narrow the table selection. For example, the screen shot above shows a player choosing Cash Tables - as you can see, there are new options including No Limit Hold'em and stake size (>$50/$100 to <$0.10).
We don't like the filtering system as much as the filters at PokerStars or Full Tilt Poker, but CD Poker still offers a simple way to find the games you want to play. Once you have located a cash table or tournament that looks appealing, double click the game to open up the CD Poker table. Here is a screen shot of the table at CD Poker:
The table at CD Poker features large, easy to read playing cards, a simple table layout (with no player avatars), and player action buttons at the bottom right of the window. There is also a chat box at the bottom left of the table that doubles as a Stats display and Hand History display. My favorite part about the CD Poker software is that pot size and bet sizes are always displayed numerically, which makes it easier to calculate pot odds in a hurry.
Other features of the CD Poker software include:
- Up to 16 table multi-tabling.
- Multi-lingual functionality, with 12 total languages offered.
- "Mini-table" view that allows for simultaneous viewing of 9 tables on one monitor.
- "Buddy List" for keeping track of friends (or loose players).
- Player notes for keeping tidbits of information about other players.
If you get tired of playing poker you can choose from the nine casino games offered at CD Poker. Choose from Caribbean Poker, Progressive Slot Games, Blackjack, American Roulette, Casino Hold’em, and Video Poker.
CD Poker Promotions (7.9/10.0):
CD Poker offers promotions including a $500 sign up bonus and new depositors' freerolls.

After you click the link above, simply download the CD poker software, create an account, and make a deposit. The 150% bonus will show up in your account instantly, but will be held in a separate account until you clear the money. This means you cannot wager or withdraw the bonus money until it has been cleared.
To clear the bonus, you have to earn "CD Points" by playing real money cash games, sit and go's, or tournaments at CD Poker with your original deposit money. Every time you earn 1,200 CD Points you release $10 of your bonus. To learn more about CD Points and the bonus, read our CD Poker deposit bonus guide.
New Depositors' Freerolls
By using the CD Poker link above, you also gain access to exclusive "New Depositors'" freerolls at CD Poker. New depositors receive four tokens for entry into the weekly $1,000 freeroll held on Wednesdays at 18:00 lobby time. New depositors at CD Poker also receive a token for entry into the monthly Prize Freeroll which is held on the last Saturday of each month at 18:00 lobby time. The winners of this tournament get to choose from prizes including laptops, video cameras, phones, and video game systems.
Both these tournaments are only open to players who have made their first deposit within the last month.
CD Poker Games (7.3/10.0):
CD Poker could do better in this category. The game offerings are getting better but currently the only games available here are Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, and 7-Card Stud. It does make us feel a bit better that you can play turbo games and heads up games in addition to normal 10-handed games.
The No Limit stakes start at $0.01/$0.02 and go up to $200/$400 but it is rare to see anyone playing the top limits. Limit stake games range from $0.02/$0.04 to $300/$600, but again, most of the players are at the lower limits. Overall the player traffic at CD Poker is good but not great - we suspect this is because the site does not accept USA players, which make up about half of the online poker market.
CD Poker Tournaments (7.5/10.0):
There are several different types of tournaments for CD Poker players. CDPoker.com offers Freerolls, Sit n Gos, Multi-table, satellite, and guaranteed prize tournaments along with heads up competitions. The freeroll tournaments are a good way to build your bankroll without risking any money.
The highlight of the CD Poker tournament lineup is definitely their new monthly $1 Million Guaranteed tournament. The tournament features a $530 buy-in, and CD Poker runs satellites for the tournament all month long so everyone has a chance to play, even if you can't afford to put up $530 cash. The tournament runs on the 10th of each month - head over to CDPoker.com to start playing qualifiers, and have a shot at a $1 million prize pool!
CD Poker Rewards (8.2/10.0):
CD Poker features a rewards program that they call the "VIP Club". All players at CD Poker are automatically enrolled in the VIP Club, and start earning rewards as soon as they start playing real money poker. There are six levels in the VIP club, starting with the Prodigy Club, the Dream Team Club, the Extreme Club, the Shark Club, the Pro Club, and the highest status - the Legend Club.
To move up the ladder, players have to earn a certain amount of CD Points per month. Here is a chart showing how many points you have to earn per month for each tier in the program:
As you move up the ladder, you earn new perks including faster rates of CD Point accumulation, entry into exclusive VIP freerolls, and bigger and bigger reload bonuses. Here is a chart showing the rewards for each level:
Although CD Poker doesn't offer cash back like other poker sites, they still rewards their loyal players handsomely. Head over to CD Poker to learn more about the program, and start earning rewards!
